Shipping & Returns

Orders will be shipped anywhere in South Africa by our primary logistics partner, Fastway Couriers. You can expect delivery within 1-3 business days for major centres and up to 5 business days for regional addresses. Alternatively, you may select the option for free collection in Cape Town for any order.


  • Due to the fragile nature of The Detailsmith X Collectif plates, delivery of any orders containing these items will be made to your door via PUDO within 1-4 business days.
  • Only two dinner plates, three tapas plates or one of each type of plate can be shipped together in a single box. Additional plates will be packed in additional boxes, as required, which may affect the shipping costs. Please email us to enquire should you wish to place one of these larger orders.

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! We offer returns or exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the exceptions listed below. You can return your product for a different product or a refund to the original payment method. Kindly note that returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use in order to qualify for a refund or exchange.


  • Discounted or sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Personal care items, including skincare, makeup and body care: We generally do not accept returns for hygiene reasons. However, if you are unsatisfied with your order in any way, please contact us within 14 days and we will do our best to resolve any issues. Kindly note that refunds cannot be issued if the product has been used.
  • Jewellery: We generally do not accept returns for hygiene reasons. If an item is broken due to a manufacturing fault, the item will be repaired or replaced accordingly. We will not, however, repair or replace items which have been damaged as a result of improper use by its owner. We will exchange pieces under condition that the item is unworn and undamaged, and is returned to us within 14 days of receipt.

Kindly note that the courier costs associated with returns and/or exchanges will be for the account of the customer. Alternatively, you can also drop your returned item(s) at our Cape Town collection point – please contact us to arrange this option.
